Something new to try. Shogun, aka Samurai Swords. Kind of like Axis and Allies. You play as a Leader of a Japanese Clan trying to gain control of Japan, claiming to be the Shogun, or military ruler of Japan. You plan your moves each turn, build army units, castles, hire ronin or even the Ninja! Of course you can also engage in diplomacy.

I will be referee and update the board every turn.

Here is the board with the Provinces abbreviated for an easier read:

Here are the rules.

http://www.hasbro.com/common/instruct/samuraiswords.pdf

The game isn't too complicated and we will take things step by step. If your willing to try it out I just need know which color you want to be.

Oda Clan - Turbo

Shimazu Clan - Dutch

Asano Clan - Heinz

Mori Clan - Moe

Konishi Clan - Randoom

If there's still room i'll take Mori Clan.

The rules link seems to be broken for me.

 Well there's our five. Yeah!

Okay, I shuffled the deck several times, and dealt out everyone 13 province cards and placed a spearman in each province. You control a province when you have a military unit there. Also notice there are three open provinces. Hopefully everyone can make out their spearman. I have to shrink a gigantic map to fit in here.

Anyways, now we will do reinforcements. The process is lenghty, but hopefully we can speed it up by doing it simultaneously. We will place 12 more of your spearman, 2 at a time, in separate provinces and then place each of your three armies. So this will take nine turns to setup, but this is important. You'll want to setup your pieces so that you can begin taking control of a part of the board.

So for now I'll need a PM from each of you, with the three letter abbreviation for the province you want to reinforce with 2 more spearman. Once I get everyone's PM, we can move to the second round of reinforcements.
