Forgotten Honour Tournament - Oceania: Code of Conduct

From time to time issues arise in the tournament and forums which we have attempted to address by implementing a code of conduct to encourage respect for players. Much of the code relates to the FHT forums and hierarchy but they also relate to game play in the FHT comp and in public servers. While we can’t kick or ban people for public servers if they make a nuisance of themselves we can stop them from playing in the FHT-Oceania competition.

FHT is open to anyone who wishes to play. However if people bring the reputation of FHT down in public or cause internal friction, by being disruptive in the ways described below they are not welcome in our community or in our competition.

The code of conduct will be enforced at all times where appropriate by Generals (HQs), Commanding Officers (COs) and Neutral Admins (REFs) who are obliged to uphold these standards in the forums, FHT comp and public servers.

The code of conduct for players of FHT-Oceania is as follows:

TOURNAMENT AND PUBLIC GAMEPLAY

Team play

GAMEPLAY DISRUPTION
Behaviour which is considered to be detrimental and/or disruptive is not allowed. Some examples:

Rapid Prone Toggling

Bunny hopping

Reload/knife Glitches

DISCIPLINARY ACTION
Players who persist in doing any of the above can and will be banned from playing FHT for some weeks or kicked from FHT altogether if their behaviour is reported or witnessed.

Public Servers : REFs and COs can ask players to play roughly by FHT rules in a pub server if they want to play FHT (except where public server rules specifically allow) for the following reasons:

FORUM ADMINISTRATION
COs, HQs and REFs will be required to delete or edit posts which are derogatory, inflammatory, obscene or lays the bait or attacks any person/s in FHT.
If your post is deleted or edited in most cases you will receive a PM explaining the reasons for editing or deleting the post, with the offending words and a link to the thread. This is your cue to make amends in the thread if necessary and respect the community by refraining from posting any more garbage in the forums. Use restraint when posting and consider the impact on the reader. If you find a post which might need attention or have any doubts please PM jesusfetus or fatMusso with the link and we will deal with it.

The REFs ask that HQs and Cos help maintain integrity in the forums by editing or deleting offensive posts by players on their team (HQs) or in their Co. (COs) Please follow the protocol outlined above to inform the poster of their error and your correction.
